Rainy weekend
The time is changing tonight but for Cooper and I the time changed yesterday. He had a bit of a wonky day so I did everything as if the time had chagned and it suited him perfect. So this morning we were up at 5:00 rearing to go. Well, he was rearing to go. Now it's almost 7:00 and we've had breakfast and are now playing for a bit before morning nap which will be around 7:30-8:00 hopefully. (the past few mornings he hasn't been going down until 9:30-10:00).
Today I am painting my bedroom. 2 shades of green. Spring Hill and Laurel Mist. Such fancy names for colors! Hubby is taking Cooper out for the afternoon so I can try and get most of it done. I'm anxious to get it done. I've been wanting to do it for months now but wanted to wait for the weather to warm up so I could open the windows without freezing us. And when I saw the forecast calling for rain all weekend, I thought this was the perfect weekend.
Well, I'm getting bombarded by an ungodly smell coming from mister boy so I better go.

Turn around
What a turn around from the weather on Saturday. It was 13 degrees today and they're saying it's going to get even warmer this week. What a difference the warm weather makes. Today I thoroughly cleaned out my garage, cleaned the front garden and some of the side garden and went for a lovely stroll with another mom friend around the lake. We took a break to let the little ones out of their strollers and they had love it. A good dose of sunshine, a good dose of fresh air and each other's company. It was great to get out of the house and outside. Cooper loved seeing all the dogs. Everytime one would pass, he would put his arm in the air and yell loudly as if trying to get the dog's attention. It was so funny. For tomorrow's mom meeting, I think we'll go to the park that's right across the street.
I love the way spring makes you feel.
And congrats to Youngmummy for their newest addition last week and also to friends of mine who had their baby girl on Saturday night. There's nothing like a batch of babies being born in March to validate spring's arrival.

We made it
We're home and he's sleeping. The visit was good aside from the needle part of course.
He's 32 1/4 inches tall which puts him at 98th percentile for height and 25.7lbs which puts him in the 90th percentile for weight. Being only 5'2", he clearly did not get his height from me.
And we tried milk today. I know, I know, I've been lagging behind but I was weary. I mixed it with his formula and he seemed to not notice. He fell asleep before he was even finished and had a 2 1/2 hour nap. Guess the warm milk to help you sleep really works .
