I don't post on 20six much now but thought I'd give my latest rant a bit of room to breathe down here as well. This is reproduced from one of my other (much more) active blogs

I recently received a package from the USA.

My registered address was shown as being in England, because that's where I bloody well live.

And when the package arrived England has been crossed out and UK written in it's place.

This has not been done by the company concerned because their mail label is printed.

It has been done some where along the line by some bloody righteous twat who thinks that they have the right to change my nationality.

Now firstly there is no nation called the United Kingdom. No one is United-Kingdomish.

For the benefit of the assholes (American spelling for the Americans) out there who don't know; The United Kingdom consists of England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland - and they are all separate nations in their own right.

I am referred to as being British merely by dint of being resident on one of the parts that forms the British Isles, to whit, England.

But - and get this through your thick skulls - I am ENGLISH.

I was born in London - the capital city of England.

I am sick and bloody tired of being told that I must be British and not English. The Scots, Irish and Welsh don't have this problem and I'm bloody well sure they wouldn't put up with it either.

I don't care to be told that this offends our migrant population. If they don't like it then they are perfectly welcome to fuck off back where they came from, mostly to oppressive regimes where they'd never be allowed to express any opinion.

I have no problem with anyone coming here from anywhere in the world LEGALLY and working to earn a living but I am sick of finding that as an indiginous Englishman I have to take second place in line to the refugees on virtually every bloody situation.

If you think I am being bigotted and biassed then I suggest you check out our British social services and things such as legal aid. I suspect you will be shocked at how much leeway and added benefits are made to those from other countries who have arrived here, legally or otherwise.

So as I can't get anything from having been born here the better part of 60 years ago I sure as hell am going to continue to be ENGLISH.

And if that offends anyone from the immigrant ethnic minorities then fucking hard luck.

Many of you came here for the freedom this country offered.

Part of that is the freedom of speech.

So fuck you if you dislike my nationality and my right to be it.

And as i say, if it really offends you, then piss off back to your own country and change it to be what you want as opposed to trying to change my country in line with your ideals.

As many know (from my other blogs) my father (now deceased) and I were not close.

This is either emotionally or geographically.

So when his business partner's widow took my fathers care in hand, originally I wasn't concerned.

After all they'd known each other the better part of 60 years.

Then things changed - dramatically.

Including her taking an enduring power of attorney over him as his mental health deteriorated.

This was presented as a fait acomplis and left me unable to do anything.

(I by the way am disabled)

My father died in May this year and recently his will was read.

I, as his only son and last surviving blood relative received - £1000

The woman who took control received - everything else, just short of £300,000 !

She is 85 and has no relatives save for a niece she dotes on.

So now everything my mother had worked for and my father too has gone to the supposed "friend"

It seems I can't contest it despite many anomalies which we in the non-legal world would consider 'odd'

Also I couldn't afford to contest it either.

So whilst I continue to survive on a medical disability pension this scheming bitch has more money than I could have hoped for.

So beware of friends and carers - you could lose everything.

I haven't really but what the heck.

I have to thank everybody for the comments as they've given me good giggle.

It was sort of like throwing a stone into a lake and watching the ripples spread outward.

I had a better simile but, even though jewish by birth, I have no doubt that someone would have climbed onto a soap box or thrown their toys out of their pram so i stuck with the stone - lake - lob - splash - ripple comparison.

I have been moaning, whinging whining etc etc about this new 20six platform.

This has pissed off several and amused many.

I had sent email requests to support@20six.co.uk from a link off the site to be told they'd not been received because "my" links were "duff"

OK how that's my fault is beyond me, but......

Then, because I don't sit glued to the net all day I am verbally slapped for not having immediately responded to the offer of mailing support again with my problem.

However I just tried to do it. I clicked the "My problem isn't dealt with here" or whatever it says link on the help page. I clicked the link, filled in the form and hit send. And where does it go?

You guessed it Support@20six.co.uk the self same link I used before and have been told doesn't exist.

Please god don't tell me it's a letter case problem, not in this day and age!

Also this is the second attempt at this entry - the bloody system timed me out first time.

So now I have to have typist type speed skills to finish an entry it seems

Why is it that when one holds forth (as I often do) about certain subjects - immediate castigation is the flavour of the moment.

I express an opinion (my own) about 20six (I repeat they are my personal views) and there is an immediate rising up and attempted beating with sticks because I commit such a heinous crime as to express any opinion (mine remember) as to the way 20six now functions and as to how much of my exisiting blog was - to be blunt - fucked up by the change of platform.

I have written to support and can report that responses from that are no better than when the previous platform was running - so no change there then.

Now before the pointed sticks are sharpened again, I'd like to make a statement.

I don't mind people expressing their differing views to me.

Good for you.

But please take note that whilst I may disagree with you I will fight for your right to have your views (yes I know it's a paraphrased quote)

I would merely request to be treated in a similar fashion. However it would seem, within the blogshpere we inhabit, opposing opinions are oft not tolerated.

Edited because todays series of rampant postings gave me a bloody good laugh.

When the old software was running I got zero - note that "ZERO"spam.

Now with this new pile of shite it's all I keep getting.

I used to like blogging here - now I think I'd have more fun beating my head with a rock!
