Transition
Just to let you know, from now on I plan to post all of my blog entries over at Platform27. This is certainly no anti-20Six rant (in fact I've been impressed with recent updates), it's just that I can't blog on 20Six from work any more, whereas I still can on P27. What do you mean we have to wait nearly another year??? GAH! PS I hear there will be Venom too... but I really hope they're just setting him up this time around so that he can have the whole of 4 to himself. Three super-villains in one film would be just too much...

One good thing about this new platform...
You can really jazz up your blog design. Sort of like this. OK it's not perfect, I can't seem to reduce the size of the links, or increase the headings for the categories. And my three column layout wouldn't display right (even though the numbers all added up right in my table design) , so I'm back to 2 columns again. Still, it looks nice and clean, and my hand drawn icons give it a personal touch... I've been faffing around with this for 4 hours, and now it's 1am... Gnnn... Good night!

Bargain of the decade?
About 6 months ago we ditched Sky and got a Freeview box... Well our finances should ease up slightly in a month or so, so we were thinking about getting back on the Sky bandwagon... maybe even going the whole hog and getting a spangly new HD box. Anyway, last week, Sky sent us a '6 months half price come back to Sky' offer, which runs out at the end of the month, and today they followed it up with a phone call. They went through tempting offer after tempting offer, at one point even offering us a Sky+ box for £49 and still having 6 months half price.
After each offer, I told them I'd talk it over with MrsK and ring them back. "I just have this one final offer I have to tell you about" she said earnestly... "no-one ever believes me when I offer it them" "As a special with the the World Cup coming up, how about the Sky Family Pack, and the Sports channels, but no movies, for 66 pence for two months" "66 pence? Really? Ah, go on then." 
She then tells me that our account is actually in credit by £4.26 (which they'd never told us about before), so we're not actually having to pay a thing!

100. The 100th Episode Extravaganze
OK, so it's taken me some time to get around to this (four months, in fact). I think I just got too hung up on the fact that this was "A BIG DEAL". That, and being lazy. Let me know what you think...
