It's open at the following times -
Monday - 10:30 - 17:30 Tuesday - 10:30 - 17:30 Wednesday - 12:30 - 17:30 Thursday - 10:30 - 17:30 Friday - 10:30 - 17:30 Saturday - 10:30 - 17:30Please feel free to pop in and check it out. Coffee Bar Update - March/April
We're cracking on with work in the Coffee Bar. You can check out the most recent photos here - Coffee Bar Photos It shouldn't be too much longer until all the material for the Coffee Bar is out of the Prayer Room and we can open that again. We're hoping to be finished by 24th March as Scott and Misty are coming to stay and we're gonna put on one of our FREE MILKSHAKE GIVEAWAYS.

24-7 Prayer Learning
We have an incredible opportunity to be involved in a new initiative with 24-7 Prayer.
In March we have been asked to participate in a 24-7 Learning course.

The course will run for 8 weeks and will be on the subject of "prayer". There will also be a summer course on the subject of "community".
The course will include a weekly podcast for discussion, some reading, access to the internet to discuss the contents of the course with others from around the world, opportunity to meet up with other groups in the UK and of course lots of food.
If you feel challenged by the idea of "community being formed around the prayer room" and you'd like to get involved with the things we shared at the 24-7 Tour Event then this could be for you.
If you're interested in joining us for one evening each week to work through the contents of this course or if you're intrigued and want more info then please contact us or drop into the shop.

24-7 Prayer Tour Thoughts
“How many? 85? Really?” After all the planning, advertising and preparation we’d heard that a few churches were interested, but we’d never have guessed that the room would be that full, or that hot!
The evening was great. We know that for many it was their first experience of 24-7 prayer and so Phil’s introduction and brief history of the movement was a good place to start. We shared about our journey with 24-7 and where we sense God is leading us. We’re sure that for some it helped them to understand the path that we’re walking and for others a challenge as we talked about “community being built around the prayer room.”
Ian encouraged us all back to the place of prayer and challenged churches to unite in prayer and be prepared to release people who feel inspired to connect with us. (For us, that was incredibly encouraging as our prayer for the last year has been for a few core members to join us in this journey.)
Generally there was a positive response with comments like “You’re doing the right thing. We can see that you’re the right people in the right place.” Others have visited the shop and still others have contacted us to say that they were challenged by the whole experience.
To be honest only time will tell what effect this has truly had, it’s a journey and a process for us all but what an incredible place to start. We can only build on this and trust that God will do great things here in Torbay.
We loved spending the day with Phil, Ian and Dan. Having people around who understand the struggles was fantastic when we often feel quite isolated. So “Thank You” guys for your sacrifice and passion for us, this place and indeed the whole 24-7 community.
How ironic it was to walk into the shop on Thursday morning to find raw sewage all over the toilet floor and dripping into the basement! (Dodgy plumbing) Makes you want to give up, but maybe it’s time to dig our heels in and not let go of what God has spoken to us.
Please continue to stand with us and if any of you feel called to get involved in what we're doing then please talk to us.

24-Prayer UK Tour - Torbay
24-7 Prayer UK Tour: Torbay Date: Wednesday, January 30, 2008 Time: 7:30pm - 10:00pm Location: The Park Hotel - Esplanade Road - Paignton View Google Map Contact Info Email: uktour@24-7prayer.com or torbay24-7@hotmail.co.uk
Description This is an open invitation to anyone in Torbay, and to those who can reach Torbay for the evening...
...to come and join in with 24-7prayer's first ever tour. Our hope is to fuel persistent prayer, prayer that spills out into mission, prayer that births new communities all over the UK.
During each tour evening, we'll hear some great stories from prayer rooms and from Boiler Room communities around the UK - stories of salvation and healing and transformation - and we'll respond to inspiring words from one of 24-7's UK/International teams. We'll also get to see previews of the new 24-7prayer mini-movies which tell some of the global story - for those who are new to 24-7prayer, this is a great opportunity to find out a bit of what this crazy movement is all about.
The Torbay Tour event will be hosted by Si and Ali Black, who opened a 24-7prayer room in the back of their skate-shop, Vert, a couple of years ago... from which they've never recovered! ;o)
During the evening, we'll make new friends (to dream and scheme with), we'll pray together for Torbay and the UK together, and we'll make time to worship Jesus together, the One who this vision is really all about... "dangerously, obsessively Jesus".
We look forward to seeing you... email if you have any questions.

Painting, Painting and more Painting!
Thought we should update everyone on how things are progressing. After a break for the summer we're back working in what will be the coffee bar. At the moment it's paint, paint, paint, preparing all the walls, doors and skirtings. There's quite a bit of work to do in the bathroom - painting, tiling, pipework etc. But hopefully within the next 3 - 4 weeks we should be in a position where we'll be ready to have the flooring fitted. Once that's done we can get on with building all the kitchen units and hopefully then things will begin to take shape. There are no pics this time 'cos they'll look the same as last time only a bit whiter!!
