Please Welcome Albert...
Well, it's time you met the Teds I think. This was all originally posted over at tedlib, but after the sad death of that blog, what more can I do but step in and help the Teds out with this new blog. Firstly, I give you: ALBERT "Hello! My name is Albert and I am a teddy of French origins. I was rescued from a French supermarket in 1992. Since then I have lived happily with my human companion and her other bears. We decided, her and I, to start this blog to let people know that there are poor teds out there who need our help. They are loved and then abandoned, left to fade in charity shop windows or thrown in the bin *GASP* We try our best to help these poor, defenseless bears as best we can. I will show you the lovely teds we have rescued so far another time... But for now, so you all know who I am, here is a nice picture of me from a famous Teddy magazine I like to read..."

How 20six tried to kill Teddy Liberation...
Hullo! My name is Albert and I am a Teddy Bear of French origins, and now I live in a Big Bright Town in England with my human companion. Here is a picture of me and my best friend William T Bear:  I am here to tell you a story, so please listen carefully. Are you sitting comfortably? Then I will begin: So, once upon a time, there was a little girl blogger called the Slytherin Head Girl. In those days, people called her Ska Girl. Well, actually, at the very beginning, people called her Pippin, but that's another story. So this little girl blogger had a lot of lovely Teddy Bears. She loved her Teddy Bears so much, she decided to start the TEDDY LIBERATION FRONT, bravely rescuing Teds from unfortunate circumstances. With her help, I decided that I would start writing a blog on this space called 20six.co.uk, as my human already had one at www.20six.co.uk/SlytherinHeadGirl. In those days, 20six was a bright and shiny place. People wandered around eachother's blogs, leaving sweeties for nice stories and having cups of tea. Life was like one Giant Teddy Bear's Picnic. And THEN, a big scary monster called CHANGE arrived and spilled the teacups, stamped on the cakes and wee'd all over the blankets. He made everyone quite upset and changed the face of 20six forever. SHG actually stopped and cried for a long time, so I had to cuddle her until she felt better again. My blog: www.20six.co.uk/tedlib was ruined. All my hours of hard work were gone. All the stories of bravely rescued bears were messy and difficult to read, the pictures GONE. It is still there if you want to gaze upon it, and mourn the loss of such a pretty blog... For a while, I was sad and hid under the bed. Then Brittonito, the Little Grito in the Big Bright Town (www.myspace.com/brittonito) crawled under the bed and talked to me for a long time with his strange, broken English, and made me feel better. My human snuggled me, and together, the three of us built this new blog - www.20six.co.uk/teddyliberation. So here I am. Me, and my Teddy Liberation Front Army are here to FIGHT ANOTHER DAY!  NO-ONE CAN STOP US NOW!
